I got to tell you guys about an “accessory” item I just recently discovered: CitySeat. Like the name suggest, CitySeat is a portable foldable sweat proof bike cover that comes in a variety of fun prints. I’m all about “prettying up” every aspect of my wardrobe and accessories, so I figure that should definitely extend to bike seats too.
One additional benefit is the extra comfort you get. For those of you that avoid doing spin classes because of the *ehem* uncomfortable sensation the seats give, you should really try this out. It’s certainly better, and not to mention way cuter, option that wearing those bulky diaper-like bike shorts. The stretchy material makes it really easy to put on and off. Also, since the cover is machine washable, it makes up-keeping super easy.
I’ve basically numbed my inner thighs and glutes to it, so I don’t really need it. But hell, I’m not going to say no to cushy padded comfort (and a good looking one to boot).
