One of the fun things I’ve learned during my first Minneapolis winter is that life outdoors doesn’t stop. I did a lot of exploring (and getting used to the cold) outside this past weekend and saw people walking on the lakes, ice fishing, sledding, etc. Yea it’s cold here, but that doesn’t mean I need to hibernate all winter. Now instead of just finding yummy food places, I will be exploring the winter activities for myself and my son. Stay tuned!

I adore that coat! It’s funny what you said about “life not stopping” due to the weather. When I lived in Vancouver and there were 3 weeks of non stop rain everything went on as normal. Now in Poland where the winters are not fun we still keep going. I guess that’s the secret to surviving bad weather!
