Florals & Ivy

Yumi Kim dress & Zara blazer

This past weekend was particularly exciting for me, because it was the first time I could really wear my floral dresses without freezing to death. The day was a tad windy, so I still had to pair the outfit with a blazer. But it’s all good — I needed something to round out my outfit anyway.

Speaking of, you guys may notice that there’s a knot on the bottom of my dress. This Yumi Kim beauty is actually a maxi, a style which unfortunately are usually not cut for shorty pants like me. Since I was planning on doing quite a bit of walking that day, ain’t no way I was going to wear heels. So what’s a girl to do? Magic the maxi dress into a midi, with the help of a knot and a safety pin, of course!

Outfit Combo: dress from Yumi Kim (find similar here and here), blazer from Zara, flats from Michael Kors (find similar here), sunglasses from Alter, necklace from Gorjana Griffin watch from Kate Spade .

Really love the floral dress! PS. I’m always bad at making bun and I always end up looking like two giants heads lol, but you look really good with bun, adorable!

ohhh so so jealous that it’s getting warm like that by you! and that blazer is killer- the color of it seriously goes super well with the dress. and that was a clever move knotting your maxi on the bottom- i didn’t even notice that wasn’t originally part of the dress until you mentioned it!
