Freezing in Florals

intimately Floral Printed Maxi by Free People

With it being officially spring and all, I was super excited to bust one of my recently purchased spring-y floral dresses. That is until I walked outside to the 27° weather. WTF weather? W-T-to-the-F?!?

This Free People floral printed maxi dress is truly a slip-dress. But one of the reason I got it, other than finding the pattern absolutely gorgeous, is that it’s substantial enough to be worn on its own. Well, apparently not on this blustery day… Even topping the combo off with a leather jacket was not enough to warm me up. So back into the apartment (and closet) I go to find something more reasonable to wear.

Needless to say, you’re going to be seeing this dress in a blog post again. Sans jacket. Photo taken on a much warmer day.

Outfit Combo: dress from Free People, tights from Spanx, pumps from Coach, sunglasses from ASOS, boots from Dolce Vita.

Omg you look uber chic and beautiful Gita. I looove your new maxi dress and the way you styled it with the cool leather jacket. Yes I have to admit I love floral dresses paired with leather jackets. Looks so edgy. I froze parts of my body off last Sunday so I can feel you. Hope the Spring will return soon!! I’m sorry to hear your sisters lives so far away. Must be really awful to not have her around. On the other hand my sisters and me fight daily about everything :D
