Go Enjoy!

All the stuff that you can get delivered in New York City never ceases to amaze me. From groceries to electronics, and heck even kittens and puppies can be procured at a moment’s whim. While I haven’t tried getting cat cuddles delivered to my door, I did recently discover a super cool way buy new technology, called Enjoy, that takes the delivery game to the next level. Not only does Enjoy deliver, but they’ll also set up and walk you through the product so you can get the most out of it. Read on to find out about my experience in getting the Withings Activité Pop and Smart Body Analyzer from them.

My Enjoy experience started off by ordering the product on their website, at which point you’ll also make an appointment for delivery and setup. Appointment time can be same day, in as fast as four hours from when you make the order. My first thought in going through checkout process was: get ready for that high delivery charge. But lo and behold, not only are the prices of the products sold on par with other retailers, the delivery and setup extras come free of charge. What what?!? Also, I love that the appointment window is a specific time slot. None of that BS 5-hour delivery window you get with some people (yeah I’m talking about you cable company).

D-day comes and my Enjoy expert, Chris, lets me know that he’s on his way to deliver the Withings goodies. And good thing too because I kinda overslept (oops) and his text actually woke me up. So please excuse the hot mess hair you see in the next photo. He also tells me that I will want to download the Withings app on my phone to prep for the setup.

Although my appointment with Chris was set for an hour, the setup up process went smoothly and was done in no time. So he spent the rest of the time going through the features of the Withings products I just got and how it would sync with the app. There’s not a lot of data to play around with on my app since I just installed it, so Chris showed what it would look like on his phone after a few months time. Not sure if Enjoy purposely paired me with an expert who regularly uses the products, but I love that he’s not just recalling memorized scripts from some manual, but actually pulled from his own experience to show how I can get the most out of the product.

Even with the additional time Chris took walking me through the app, the appointment still didn’t last the whole hour, which I’m fine with (this busy girl’s got things to do and places to be). He promised that I can reach out whenever I need: if I have additional questions, forgot a tip, or need advice on new devices. He’ll even come back out — for free.

Right about now, I’m really wishing I knew about Enjoy when my sister and I gifted my parents a robotic vacuum and smart thermostat, both of which ended up getting returned. Or that time I got my mom a GPS watch, which ended up getting re-gifted. I know, I never learned my lesson about getting the parentals high-tech gifts. If only they came with an expert who explained how it works.

Enjoy is currently available in the San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, as well as parts of Brooklyn and Queens, and Hoboken, New Jersey. Enjoy will be expanding in additional markets in 2016.
