Mickey & Distressed Denim

Finally! This weekend’s weather has been so gorgeous and actually feeling like spring. One of the first days where I actually walked around most of the day carrying my jacket and wondering why I even brought one in the first place. But of course, the April weather being temperamental as it is, as soon as you get away from the sun or feel a strong breeze you feel really grateful that you’ve got a sweatshirt on (maybe that jacket wasn’t a bad idea after all). My days of wearing this Mickey sweatshirt for the season is likely numbered, but you’re not going to hear any complaints from me. I was getting sick of the winter-in-spring weather anyway.

I’ve also recently been a bit obsessed with distressed denim lately, and decided I was going to expand my collection to another color: black. I love this pair from Joe’s Jeans since the material is so nice and soft. Not to mention that it’s stretchy, which I’m all about. The only bad thing is that the jeans is not really made for petite shorties like me. This means that the “ankle fit” is really more of the regular fit for me and the distressing on the knee is not as pronounced as I would like it to be. So the search for the perfect distressed black jeans continues. Anyone has an idea where a shorty pants like me can get one?
