Purple Rain

December 2, 2014

Though it looks like I’m channeling a winter version of Prince circa 1984 (or MJ), I didn’t plan to wear purple (ERR eggplant?) on purple like this, I SWEAR! It’s just that I wanted to wear the hat, this jacket was already out, my son was in the hallway sayin ‘HURRY UP’, and the rest is well… pictured above.

Any-who back to my Minneapolis food quest. On this particular day I wanted to check out the Holidazzle Village. What is this seemingly magically named place, you ask?!!??? Well, I was just about to tell you, Patience my young Padawan (get it bc I’m like a Jedi Master and you… ERRR Nevermind). To be honest with ya, I wasn’t sure what a Holidazzle was either, so decided I needed to investigate (being that it’s my first winter here). Turns out it’s a litte holiday market set up in the down town area. It was super cute too! They built it out to look like a German Christmas market (or at least that is how I took it). There was mulled wine, pastries, brats, and super cute ornaments. The day we went (two days after opening) was a little crowded BUT the food was still pretty good, and mulled wine kept us warm. I’m not sure if I would go back (don’t enjoy crowds), but it was still fun to check out at least once.

Outfit Combo: top: AllSaints wool coat (sold out, similar here) and Goorin Bros Maise Lock Felt Fedora, bottom: rag & bone Skinny Stretch Jean, shoes: Modern Vintage over the knee boots (old), and sunnies: Ray-Ban Aviators
