Scarfs and Cubes

This lucky girl is fortunate enough to enjoy a fairly sizable closet for New York standards. Even then, my modest walk-in closet is almost at the breaking point where I need to take stuff out in order to bring something in. So when I’m considering whether to add a piece to my collection, whether it be clothing or accessories, I think long and hard about how it’s going to fit with the rest of the things I already own. Nevertheless, every so often I find one of those items that I just instantaneously fall in love with that makes me throw all caution to the wind.

Typically this foolhardiness ends up with less desirable result (case in point: the cute purple Marc Jacobs rain booties that I may have worn once before it got shipped off to Buffalo Exchange). But I guess I just don’t learn my lesson because earlier this month, it happened to me twice in the same week. Once when I got instantly smitten by the Heio cube mitjana small crossbody. And then later in the week when I attended an event for fellow blogger Lexicon of Style and just had to get one of her scarf. I swear I didn’t even plan to match them together (that’s what happens when you’re a fashion addict who easily forgets what packages are coming in the mail) but hurrah they are such a precious pairing. Seriously felt like they were meant for each other.

Now let’s talk some more about the mitjana crossbody bag, from the Heio Menorca collection. I am so friggin excited about how cute this bag is. Did I mention that it’s convertible and you can shape it two ways? My head is already buzzing with all the different ways I’ll be able to style this bag.
