We’ve had some weird weather this spring, which has made dressing stressful to say the least. Not to mention the increasingly sad pile of newly acquired crop tops, short shorts and rompers thats been sitting in my closet, just waiting to see the light of day. Well it seems like the weather gods are keep to make up for the spring funk, just in time for Memorial Day long weekend. We had gorgeous weather, with just a sprinkle of rain, for all four days (yes my work is very generous and gave us Friday off also). And of course you know what my favorite uniform for frolicking (and driking) in the sun: the romper.
Like my off shoulder romper, this one is also from my new favorite shop: Tobi. The rompers cut is super flattering and leg cuts at the perfect spot. One of the test I use to deterimine this is whether it can be paired with flats or not. There are tons of stuff out there that looks pretty on the model, but I need heels to wear it (without looking like an oompah loompah). The “goes with everything” earth tones colors also makes it easy to pair with accessories.
Lastly, and a very important note to add, this romper also meets my requirement to be drinking friendly. It’s made from stretchy materials and it’s easy to get in and out of. Because nothing ruins a fun day in the sun than having to struggle with your romper buttons when going to the ladies room.
Outfit Combo: anisha midi jumpsuit from Tobi (use code SPARK50 for a discount), sunglasses from Prada (via Ditto), necklace from Kris Nations (find similar here), sandals from Pour La Victoire.
