So call me ignorant, but I had no idea that TJ Maxx carry luxury items. I have been to some that carry higher-end brands like BCBG or Betsey Johnson, but I would have never dream of finding the likes of Valentino and Prada at my humble local TJ Maxx. I’ve heard that the items in-stock in the store depends on the area that you live in, so I guess I’ve never lived anywhere nice enough☺.
Then my dreams came true! I found out that the Georgetown TJ Maxx (nearby where my BFF and blogger sidekick, Jess, lives) has the luxury items I coveted. You better believe I added the store to my “must visit” list when I went DC. Snagged me this luscious Nannette Lepore blazer for almost 80% off!
When I have this blazer on (especially if it’s paired with some round sunglasses), I feel like I’m channelling my inner Morpheus.
“Have you ever had a dream, Neo, that you were so sure was real?” Yes, that one time I went to TJ Maxx and scored all these designer goodies!
Outfit Combo: ‘Love Potion’ blazer from Nanette Lepore, button-up from Uniqlo, knit vest from Banana Republic (find similar here), pants from Gap, sunglasses from Alter, boots from Zara.
Ha, i’m totally didn’t know they carried high end brands like that either! I’m gonna have to go and check mine out… 80% off is winning in my book [;
