Brandi Melville Distressed Denim Shorts

If you’ve been in a cab in New York recently, you’ve probably seen the See Your City advertisement. Their tagline touts that for visitors, New York City is a vacation of a lifetime; but for the lucky 8 million resident, it’s only a subway ride away. Well I count myself among those lucky 8 million and do sometime think that I don’t see enough of the city. Plus, why let the tourist have all the fun?
Spurred by my brother in law’s visit a few weekends ago, I’ve been doing quite a bit of sight seeing lately. I decided to continue this trend by visiting the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space museum this past Sunday. I can officially say I’ve been been on an aircraft carrier and seen a space shuttle up close — wahoo, that’s two things I can cross off my bucket list.

Outfit Combo: distressed denim shorts from Brandi Melville (find similar here and here), sleeveless top from H&M, gizeh sandals from Birkenstocks, sandals from H&M, bag from Zara (find similar styles here and here), hat from Urban Outfittres.

Ali, I highly recommend you check out the “Best of New York” Circle Line cruise. I did that a few weekends ago when my brother in law was out of town, and I LOVED it!
