Lights, Cake Pops, Macaroons, Cocktails, Giveaway Goodies, Donation Bins, Donation Items — ACTION! That’s how Kim and my Saturday felt like as we prepared for our shopping charity event Fashionistas on a Mission in support of Rose Brooks Center. First, I have to let it be known that we LOVE Annette and Randall from The Garment District for letting us take over their gorg, megachic store. Next, shout out to the sponsors who helped us make the event entertaining, FUN, and successful; Kansas Whiskey, Au Bon Macaron, La Bella Figura, One Love Organics, eNVe Designs, isshou no yakusoku, simply livly, and Whitney Manney.
Finally, Thanks to our FAM, friends and KC community for coming out to shop and donate; we were able to raise … drumroll … $1070 for Rose Brooks Center — in addition to all the great baby products and other needed items that were brought in! I’d say that is cause for celebration, can I get some champers!?!!
Who needs champers when you have totesamaze cocktails, thanks to Kansas Whiskey; chic colorful tasty macarons from Au Bon Macaron; and cake pops courtesy of your girl.
