After it snows, and all that white stuff settles on the ground, it makes me think of powdered sugar, and beignets sprinkled in it (must stop comparing everything to food). All this of course inevitably lead me to search good ol’ Google for a place that served beignets, #sopredictable. I came across Good Day Cafe in the search results, they had pretty good Yelp reviews, so decided to give the place a chance.
Good Day Cafe was super cute and smelled really, REALLY yummy inside. Fun facts: they use all fresh ingredients from Minnesota to cook their food AND everything is made fresh in house, nothing processed, frozen, or re-heated — YAY! I enjoyed a plate of corn beef hash, and of course beignets. All my food, and the service, was worth the drive and I will definitely be back. One more Minneapolis food joint for the win.
Outfit Combo: top: Theory cashmere sweater (similar in stripe here), BCBGMAXAZRIA ‘winter veil’ beanie, and Burberry Brit ‘Cobridge’ hooded anorak, bottom: J Brand skinny jean, shoes: Tory Burch duck boots (old, great options here, here, and here), and sunnies: Ray-Ban aviators
So cute! I am headed to the mountains soon and need some cute boots like yours! Actually, I will take the whole outfit!
