Do you pick your restaurant based on the food or based on the interiors? Or maybe both? Full disclosure: “NYC’s Most Instagrammable Restaurants” is definitely a search term that my Google history is familiar with.
If you’re like me and want to have their cake and eat it too, you’re in luck! New York City lets you have it all.
I think many times people equate high style with no substance. But here, rent is SO HIGH in the city that it’s unlikely that a restaurant will survive if the food is sub par. No worries though, I’ve taste tested all of these places. So you’ll know you won’t be sacrificing taste for pretty interiors in these restaurants.
Read on to check out some of my favorite instagramable restaurants in New York City.
1. Serra By Birrera
This is a seasonal restaurant on the rooftop of Eataly Nomad. The interior changes based on the season, so you might want to make a reservation at least four times a year.
2. Tacombi
I can never say no to good elote and barbacoa tacos, especially when it comes with a side of vibes. This place is going to make you feel like you’re on a mini vacation south of the border.
3. Lamia Fish Market
Feel free to come dress up in blue and wear a red wig, because this place is going to give you Ariel vibes. Get your dinglehopper ready…
4. Gupshup
I don’t know about you, but I want that tiger painting in my living room. Talk about fierce interiors!
5. La Mercerie
A super cute place with desert and light bites. They also have an adjacent shop filled with gorgeous flatware I can’t afford LOL.
6. Oscar Wilde
This is a recent find of mine. I love the old world feel of the interiors that makes me feel like I’m transported across the pond to London.
7. The Vine
No one would accuse Koreatown of being the sexiest part of New York City, but the interior of this restaurant sure is sexy!
8. Freehand Hotel
Ok this one is a bit of a cheat since the game room is not technically part of the restaurant, but I can’t help myself. If you ever find yourself at Freehand Hotel, you must go by the game room for a little instaphoto sesh.
9.Broken Shaker at Freehand Hotel
Come in your aloha shirt because this place will give you major Tiki vibes.
10.Bar SixtyFive
Ok so it’s not the interior that’s going to impress at this place. But the view cannot be beat. Make a reservation and come early to make sure you get seated right by the window.
11. Shoo Shoo
Gosh I just love saying the name of this place: Shoo SHOOOOOOOOOO. It’s almost as cute as the interior.
12. Nickel and Diner
When you feel like having burgers and a cuppa joe, but make it fashion!
13. Ophelia
Prettiest floor and table for all your shofies. And the view’s to die for also.
14. Quality Eats Nomad
I think this place is a bit underrated. Probably because it’s a newer branch of Quality Eats. I’m not complaining about being able to get a table without waiting though.
