We finally got sunny warm(ish) weather in NYC this past weekend. It was a great weekend to be out and about, and my buddy Lis and I spent it shopping in Greenpoint. I got a few pieces from Alter and Wolves Within. I was so giddy over my new finds that I completely forgot that one of my day goals was to take some blog pictures. The sun was setting quickly; luckily Lis found a teeny patch of sun that ended up being the perfect spot to take photos in. (Minus the people walking by and staring at us, of course, but I’m pretty used to that by now.)
It’s back to being cold again today. But hey if they weather is only going to be sunny sometimes, I prefer it to be on the weekend when I’m not stuck working inside.
Outfit Combo: shirt from Topshop, skirt from American Apparel, tights from Spanx, beanie from Madewell, boots from Dolce Vita.
Here’s the gorgeous sunny view I took from the ferry ride to Brooklyn.
Also, for those of you blogger buddies out there, did you know that its Monday Bloom Link up day at DC in Style‘s blog today? Mosey over there and check it out!

This red velvet skirt is lovely. I like the way the hat makes it a little more casual, too.

Just stumbled upon your blog! I love the muted top with more bolder skirt. I totally agree with you; its more special when sunnier days happen to be on a weekend day!
Omg Gita you look amazing. Love this beautiful skirt and shirt. Glad you guys had some sunshine over there too!! It’s great to see the sun again after all these month. I hope you enjoyed your little shopping trip. I never understood how Elena’s link up parties work. I should figure it out one day :D
Well I know why you get blocked. Our name actually belonged to a sex site a million years ago and the US law is very strict I guess! Blame my sister Holly for it. The name was her idea. When we chose the name we googled it and there was nothing there but after a year my sister showed my a site that stated we were ranked amongst the most successful sex sites in the world hahaha. Sh.. happens. Wish you a lovely day :D
