Last Thursday, I tagged along with Megan Zietz of TF Diaries to the preview of Ted Baker’s Spring Summer 2014 Collection. The event was unlike any preview I’ve been to and was a total blast! Not only was there gorgeous fashion, but the carnival themed event had a live band, performers, and yummy fair-style food. Needless to say, I had tons of fun.
Now on to the SS14 collection! The women’s collection had an interesting range of pastels and florals, peppered in with a few bright neon colors here and there. Although I typically go for the bright strong colors, in this collection my personal preference is for the pastels. My hands down favorite has got to be the Beula dress, pictured below. The floral print, color, and flowiness of the dress just screams springtime.
Read on to check out more of my favorites from the collection.
How cool is the “fauxhawk” clutch below? This was the one exception to my pastel preference in the collection. Now THIS is the definition of a statement piece.
I’m a self-proclaimed lover of menswear for women. So although I was mostly checking out the guy’s section for my hubby, I have to admit there were many pieces I wouldn’t mind wearing myself, like these briefcases (which would fit my laptop perfectly) and bowties.
