The short suit set, weather wise, is admittedly a tricky outfit to wear. They’re like the avocado of the fashion world. Depending on where you live, there can be such a short window on when you can wear them. One minute, it’s hot as the devil out and there is no way you’re going to suffer wearing a blazer. Next thing you know Fall is here, and it’s way too cold to wear shorts.
Don’t worry though, I’ve got the tips on how to wear the short suit for Fall. You can put those bad boys on now, and even wear them well into the chilly weather season.
1. My top tip on how to wear the short suit for Fall? Add a turtleneck to it
This is my go-to trick for cold weather proofing most outfit. It’s also the reason why I have about five plain turtlenecks of different colors. They’re just one of the best and most versatile layering piece.
2. Fall heatwave in session? Roll your blazer sleeves
I’m a big fan of sleeve rolling and usually already do it anyway. Since I’m petite-sized, most long sleeve blazers always end up being too long for me. Add extra interest by rolling your blazer sleeve a bit shorter than the amount your scrunching your turtleneck sleeve.
3. Weather really chilling down? Easy, just add boots and tights
Depending on where you live, you might even be able to wear the short suit well into winter. Once the weather starts really cooling down, the easiest way to keep wearing the short suit set is to add tights and boots into the mix. You can start off by adding sheer tights. Once it gets really chilly, upgrade yourself to a pair of heattech tights and maybe some cute ankle boots.
