Winter Ready with Cougar Boots

Before I moved to New York City, all boots were the pretty much same to me. Shopping for them were much simpler as there was really only one main requirement: they need to look good. As my everyday walking mileage was a lot lower, having them be comfortable was just a nice added bonus points.

Well fast forward to the present, things have changed quite a bit. Although the main requirement of “looking good” still holds, I’m taking on quite a few additional asks. The boots need to be comfortable, of course, but most importantly they need to also be season appropriate. New York winters are known to be temperamental and the nastier days can involve tons of snow. So the boots not only need to keep you warm, but also have good tread so that you don’t risk slipping and sliding on the icy pavement.
