NYFW Recap: Wenqi Wu SS15 Collection

Sorry loves for the lack of posting this past couple of weeks. New York Fashion Week has been a whirlwind of tiring (albeit very fun) adventure, which culminated in me being sick in on the last two days. So you’re going to be seeing a whole lot of posts in the coming days to make up for my absence, starting with my kickoff to NYFW: Wenqi Wu’s Summer/Spring 2015 Presentation.

At first glance of emerging designer Wenqi Wu’s Summer Spring 2015 collection, I was immediately attracted to the geometric shapes and bold colors. Upon closer inspection, I was blown away by the impeccable construction and intricate details of the pieces (my favorite being the jacket from the first photo). Wu even designed all of the shoes shown within the presentation.

Be on the lookout for more from this Parsons graduate. I would wager that this talented fellow will be going far in the fashion world.
