The Gilliegan Hat Challenge + Giveaway

Boy I can’t remember the last time I wore a bucket hat. Scratch that…I do remember. I was going to a watch basketball game in 9th grade, feeling like I’m the coolest kid around because I went to the game with my then-crush, who was a senior. And also, of course, because I had the coolest hat on (duh).

I didn’t really have plans ever revisit the bucket hat trend, until Ellie Hayes approached me to style their Gilliegan hat. The super cute elephant and pineapple print is right up my alley, but on a bucket hat?
Well you know I’m not one to shy away from a fashion challenges. Plus, part of Ellie Hayes’s sale profit goes to fund Clinics of Hope. No one’s going to say no to looking good for a good cause (because that’s a lot of good). Bring on the bucket challenge!

Not gonna lie: I was pretty nervous about challenging myself to style a bucket hat, but I think I’m rocking this look. So much so, that I’m officially putting bucket hats on my end-of-summer trend list.
