Man what I would give for an NYC apartment that is entertaining worthy. But sometimes our dreams can be bigger than our pocket book — and that’s definitely the situation that I’m currently in. Someone’s bound to be a friend who has friend who’s willing to lend out their kick ass apartment (one that’s way more spacious than my small one bedroom, for sure). Throw in some good frozen apps from Trader Joe’s, and tons of wine and cocktails for good measure, and you got yourself a swinging party. Of course all of the festivity decor needs to be on point. I mean, we are style bloggers after all.

Can I just tell you, that I am absolutely obsessed with Kellie Pickler’s Selma Dyre holiday collection. It’s totally not what I would expect it to be. What did I expect exactly? I wasn’t really sure. I guess when I think of Kelly and Shop Opry, something super traditional comes to mind — fancy porcelain with intricate patterns that feels almost too pretty to actually use. This collection definitely has a antique feel to it, but it’s in the best of ways. The silver tea set like something of your great-grandma’s that been passed down for generation. Which is totally appropriate, since the home goods design was inspired by Kellie’s great grandmother.

I’m also gaga over the large and small glass domes that you can fill with whatever decoration you want, like LED string lights. It sure is one of those decor that instantly brings “fanciness value” (yup I just totally made that word up) to your tablescape.
